Cheyney University - Master of Arts in Teaching Program

The MAT program at Cheyney University is targeted for students who do not possess an elementary education degree or for those teaching with emergency elementary education certificates to become certified elementary teachers.

• Complete 33 semester hours
• Maintain GPA of 3.0
• Pass Praxis I and II
• Complete and Defend Portfolio/Thesis Project
